The energetic talented blonde was allowed to attend sports in pre-school where she started doing figure skating and ballet. After that, she kept training skating every day and also tried her luck with ball games, gymnastics and swimming. Andrea was 6 when she started diving and after a year of training she had become really good, something that showed the following year when she won a Czech championship after another. With her courage and talent she managed to learn difficult dives fast, something that made her a member of the Czech junior national team when she was 12.
Diving was the most important part of her life and practiced twice a day in a town 100 km from home, seeing her parents only on weekends. At 16 she was already competing in Europe and was one of the future Olympic stars of the country. However, when training for the 1996 Summer Olympics, she injured her spine in an accident diving from the 10m platform. Even though she recovered from the injury, she didn’t manage to qualify for the 2000 Olympic Games and as her problems persisted she ended up retiring from professional sports.
A photographer approached her and offered the chance to pose nude and participate in adult films, something she found really interesting and exciting. Lea De Mae was born then and her debut came in 1999 when she was 23 years old.
